Neighborhoods
“Ask about your neighbors, then buy the house.” ~ Jewish Proverb
There is no reason to fall in love with a house if it’s in an area where you don’t feel comfortable. Better to shop for a neighborhood first, then settle on the house that suits you.
The upper east side of Texas is a very large area to search for a home; it covers all or part of several counties (Smith, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Rusk, Cherokee, Anderson and Henderson), a number of towns (Tyler, Chandler, Edom, Lindale, Flint, Whitehouse, Bullard and many more), as well as several thousand square miles of forest and farmland. So our website is designed to help you fine-tune your search. For instance, if you’re looking for a home on the water, on acreage, or on the golf course, in Whitehouse or Bullard school district, in Tyler or Flint, under $100K or over $400K, we have a link for those and many other searches. Just pull down the “Listings” menu up top and make your selection among the sub-menus.
We are not property managers, bu if you have a question purchasing in a neighborhood, we can help. Please feel free to use our experience to make your home-buying decision easier.
