Twenty-six years ago Andrea and I met at our agent’s housewarming party and after a whirlwind courtship, we were married thirty-eight days later. If the Vegas bookies had been handicapping our chances of a successful marriage, I’m sure our odds wouldn’t have looked very good. For that matter, our friends and family were pretty skeptical (and with some justification).
So it is even more satisfying to say, “Happy 26th Anniversary, Pearl!”
