The Hays: Helping Young Families
The Hays family consisted of Keith and Laresa in 2007 when they purchased their home in Whitehouse’s Waterton addition, a perfect neighborhood for first-time buyers and young families. Then little Carli came along, then Ava, and suddenly the Hays family had outgrown their Waterton home; they called on us to help them market it. The Hays had done some nice updates, including granite counters in the kitchen and master bath, and bronze fixtures and hardware throughout the home…and of course it was affordable. So it wasn’t too surprising that we had our first offer within 24 hours, and then another offer came in a few hours later. The home actually sold for more than the list price with multiple offers. Meanwhile one of our buyers’ agents, Myra Kent, had been helping them find a larger home on a bigger lot in a more rural setting, so soon the Hays family was packing and moving to Troup. We love working with young families!
