The Berrys: Re-Locating in Retirement
The Berry’s were referrred to us by their friend and fellow church-goer, Myra Kent, our long-time buyers’ agent. Some years ago, the Berry’s bought what was JB’s Dad’s fish camp in Berryville and took it down to the studs, renovating and enlarging it into a nice waterfront home complete with workshop, boathouse, and a spectacular view of Lake Palestine’s big water from most of the house. However, as their three sons got busy with careers and families and their visits home became less frequent, JB and Wanda decided it was time to make a move. With their sons spread out from Texas to Florida, they have opted to move to Searcy, Arkansas to be nearer one of their boys and a grandchild, and to be more central to the other two. Soon another family will be enjoying the home on the lake, and the Berry’s of Berryville will be headed east to the Ozarks.
