RIP Dwayne Loosier

We lost a good friend last week and Jack lost his “step-up dad”. Dwayne Loosier came into our lives four-and-a-half years ago through his relationship with Scherrie, our grandson’s mom. He described himself as “not a fancy person”. A hard worker, a generous friend, a Cowboys and Longhorns fan, and a dedicated hog hunter, he died doing what he loved. He was with his brother and a friend up on the Red River. They had already put down four feral pigs when he opened the gate to let out his Black Mouth Cur catch dogs and fell to the ground. His brother and friend performed CPR until the ambulance arrived a half-hour later, but he never revived. Only fifty-nine years old, his death has come as a shock to all who knew him. RIP my friend, you will be missed for a long time.
