For those of us who love water, the idea of living near it is very attractive. We sell waterfront homes and lots here in our part of northeast Texas; our doctor recently built a weekend getaway on Lake Tyler which is actually a boat house with living quarters. Early in our marriage Andrea and I spent a week aboard a sailboat in San Francisco Bay; it was a bit cramped but sleeping on a gently rocking boat was wonderful.
