The DeWares: 1st-Time Homebuyers
Robert & Stephanie had been sweethearts for a couple of years; now they wanted a home AND they wanted to take advantage of the $8,000 tax credit. Both of them work; Robert is an Iraqi Freedom veteran and owner of Green Acres Lawn Care; Stephanie is the Activities Director at Atria Senior Living/Tyler. Over a summer we looked at a lot of homes and finally found the perfect one for them. A couple of weeks after they had moved in Stephanie called to tell me how happy they were…busy with projects and enjoying their yard. There’s something especially gratifying about helping folks buy their first home.
