Helping Retirees Re-Locate

Our neighbors, the Hortons, had lived in Country Place for seventeen years. A veteran runner, Wayne was a regular sight on our streets. Ann had served on the board and was active in the ladies luncheon group here. But for the past few years they had opted to spend summers in Michigan, and being away from a big house with a yard that’s more than an acre for several months is difficult. So, they approached us in the spring with the idea of downsizing. We mentioned another active Tyler couple we’d helped to re-locate to Sun City, Del Webb’s Georgetown community. The Hortons visited and knew immediately they’d found their next neighborhood. They liked all the social activities and the low maintenance will make it easier for them to travel. We had an offer within a few weeks and now we have another couple of friends, the Ford’s, as neighbors.

Our best wishes to Ann and Wayne in their new Georgetown home.
