Chapel Hill

Located just east of Tyler, Chapel Hill has its own school district (the Bulldogs) but shares a Tyler post office. Bordered on the west by Loop 323 and the University of Texas at Tyler,Chapel Hill is host to the largest entertainment venue in the area, The Oil Palace, which seats almost 7,000 people. It is also home to neighborhoods like The Woods, del Coronado, Deer Run, Big Oak Bay and Guinn Farms. Villa Montez, one of the area’s most popular restaurants, is located in a picturesque setting on a wooded hill in Chapel Hill. Convenient to both colleges and hospitals, it is understandable why Chapel Hill is popular with Tylerites employed in education and medicine.
