Cumberland Ridge

Located on the south end of Lake Palestine on Saline Bay, Cumberland Ridge is a waterfront community with good access to the lake, to grocery shopping, and to medical (4.5 miles). With many mature trees and a range of architectural styles and price points, the 200+ permanent residents are a diverse group of retirees and young families with school-age children. Situated on rolling hills overlooking the lake, there are good views of the water from many spots off-lake. A covenant-controlled community with sliding-scale dues ($300-800 annually) which maintain the parks, boat ramps, marina and secured community storage for boats and RV’s, Cumberland Ridge is in the much-sought-after Bullard Independent School District.

Lake Palestine is a big lake, covering more than 25,000 acres. Large enough to accommodate sail boats and cabin cruisers, the lake has long been a favorite for skiers, sailors, and fishermen chasing bass (black, white and hybrid-striped), catfish (yellow, blue and channel), crappie, and bream. Bass tournaments are held regularly here. Golfers will find the Eagles Bluff and Emerald Bay courses just a few minutes away.
