The Meeks: Relocating to Tyler
With three pre-school children (and now another on the way), when Eileen Meek called Andrea she was very specific about what sort of home she and Eric would need during their time in Tyler. Eric, a Naval Flight Surgeon, had accepted a two-year Occupational Medicine residency at UT Health Northeast and time was of the essence. Andrea guided Eileen through a process of viewing homes together on Realtor.com, and they shortly narrowed the search to homes in Lindale, Gladewater, and Chapel Hill. Andrea and Eileen toured the listings and soon settled on the Chapel Hill home near Horseshoe Lake. Secluded, and with over an acre of woods, the roomy house was just what they had in mind (with some updates, of course). With a minimum of negotiation, the Meeks got the house they wanted and moved in soon after. They are loving East Texas, their new church home and the friendly people they have met here!
